Lody Kong

Formed in Phoenix, Arizona by brothers Igor and Zyon Cavalera in 2011. The band recorded their first demo only months after the formation of the group. In 2012 Lody Kong did extensive touring of the U.S. and Europe, as well as recorded a four song EP entitled "No Rules." Over the following years, the band wrote and recorded their first full length album, had extensive lineup changes and signed to Mascot Label Group. The album, titled "Dreams and Visions", was released on March 25th, 2016, and it showed new capabilities of the otherwise noisy group. Lody Kong blends a fusion of sludge, old school punk and psychedelic stoner metal. Embodying crunching guitars, fuzzy bass lines and dominating drum beats, the band's sound and direction is crushing formal boundaries. Arizona based sludge band founded in 2011.
