Helena May has been singing across the UK and internationally since 2008 performing with acts including British 70's Soul pioneers Kokomo, (Ronnie Scott's, The Half Moon, Royal Festival Hall), 1940's vintage trio, The Siren Sisters (Camp Bestival, BBC Radio Wales, Bestival) and Think Floyd (UK Tour 2014, 2016, 2017, Rhodes Rock Festival).

Since moving to London in 2016, Helena May has been crowned London Gay Big Band's Jazz Idol 2016, performed at 2016's Pride in London in Trafalgar Square, Sitges Pride in Spain and the British Summertime Festival in Hyde Park.

Helena May also performs with jazz-funk fusion band Redtenbacher's Funkestra at the prestigious Chelsea's 606 Jazz Club and performed with Incognito's Imaani at the opening of EFG London Jazz Festival 2016. Helena May has most recently started performing with The Red Stripe Band playing London venues and touring UK Jazz Festivals (Cafè in the Crypt, Edinburgh Jazz, Fife Jazz Festival, Marlborough Jazz Festival, The Hideaway)
