Western Scene

WESTERN SCENE is an indie pop rock band formed in 2013 by front man Tom Pritchard in Los Angeles, California. The band’s first EP Listening was released in 2013 and produced by Hugo Nicolson (Radiohead / Primal Scream). They’ve spent the last four years working on a follow up, written and recorded in bedrooms and studios on both coasts with a rotating cast of players. The first release from this collection, "See What You Want To," gained traction online and on Southern California radio, and was featured numerous times in film and television. Their new single "Going Back" employs a simplistic narrative and guitar hook to suppress the song's tense emotion, resulting in a subversive song that delivers on its emotive payoff. As with many Western Scene's songs, the music leaves listeners with a sense of uneasy triumph. The band will be releasing more singles leading up to a full album in Fall 2017.
