The legendary Leonard Bernstein understood the pulse of American life like no other composer, and his sassy, energetic scores still stir emotions decades later. The Seattle Symphony brings Bernstein's Broadway classic "Wonderful Town" to life in this concert at Benaroya Hall's Taper Auditorium. Under the baton of Music Director Ludovic Merlot and featuring clarinetist Benjamin Lulich and soprano Jessica Rivera, among others, the Symphony will perform "Christopher Street," "A Little Bit in Love," "Ohio" and the "Conga!" in this vibrant showcase of Bernstein's work.
