The Seattle Symphony takes on Shakespeare's tragic tale of young love and family honor, rendered in the universal language of dance, which inspired Prokofiev's most impassioned and romantic music. Bask in the unbridled passion of "Romeo and Juliet"'s Suite No. 2. Also on the program is Principal Cellist Efe Baltacigil with a performance of Haydn's enriching Cello Concerto, and the Symphony will play Antonin Dvorak's "The Wild Dove". Karina Canellakis conducts this Masterworks program at Seattle's Benaroya Hall.
