Lucy Anne Sale

British singer-songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist. Sale's debut album Keeping it all at Home was a heady stew of contemporary folk and blues and for the first time saw Lucy harmonising with herself multi-instrumentally. She toured the album alongside Kelly Joe Phelps and Paul Curreri on their UK and Ireland tours. As a versatile multi-instrumentalist, she has worked with various musicians including Devon Sproule and these collaborations have led to performances at venues including Glastonbury Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival and the Roundhouse and she has featured on BBC 6music with Marc Riley. Sale launched her 2013 album Sonomama with a sold-out show at St Mary Magdalen's Church in Coventry. Tracks from the collection have been played on BBC and commercial radio. Sonomama received favourable reviews: “Eclectic style-breaking, genre-blending soul-searching, bluesy jazz-edged folk” (Folkwords); “A persuasive voice that has bags of personality, the kind of characteristics that can win over the staunchest of doubters” (FATEA).
