Arto Lindsay has stood at the intersection of music and art for more than four decades. He was at the forefront of the No Wave movement, he birthed a new hybrid of American and Brazilian sounds and he's worked with cutting-edge artists like Laurie Anderson, Animal Collective and Matthew Barney. Now, the envelope-pusher's playing New York with D.C.-based band Beauty Pill, a semi-electronic post-punk act that crafts "songs about the mouth of the 21st century." The sonic kindred spirits are in the midst of a concert tour and they're set to take the Poisson Rouge stage, with Lindsay rallying around "Cuidado Madame", his first album since 2004.
