On-The-Go Biography
Russia's On-The-Go is a force to be reckoned with. The rapidly rising, Moscow-based indie-pop quintet create deeply stirring musical landscapes made up of warm, highly atmospheric undertones, exquisitely layered in heartfelt and hard-hitting instrumentation. Comfortably sitting somewhere between acts like Bon Iver, Wild Beasts, and Boards of Canada, the combination of the band's unparalleled musicianship, mesmerizing lyricism and overall euphonious songwriting is helping to quickly establish On-The-Go as one of the most exciting band's to emerge in years.
Having made a big name for themselves in Russia with the release of two critically acclaimed albums (2009's Self-Titled and 2011's November), On-The-Go have been sharing the stage with some of the world's top acts, including Keane, Hurts, The Big Pink, She Wants Revenge, Autokratz, Foster The People, Stromae.
Their LP «Young Hearts» released in April, 2014 hits Top 3 on iTunes Russia and the video for «Keep Pretending» single won mtvU freshmen competition establishing On-The-Go as a rising independent force. In 2016 they released their new album «Origins» which also arrived in iTunes Russia Top 3. The band did a Russian tour and now is going abroad.
