Very few progressive rock bands manage to not only capture the fans’ imagination, but even break the border between band and audience like Cryptex do.When more than 2.000 fans sing along with the band in the sold-out Balver Cave, when true metalheads collectively bang their heads at MetalDays and when the World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise, 70000Tons of Metal, experiences a true ecstasy from an epic version of Savatage’s “Gutter Ballet”, then it’s safe to say that this calls for more! Finally, Cryptex return with exactly that and even open up a completely new chapter, too!The “Anthems of Glory Tour 2017” is full of hymns, passion and pure emotion. Besides a new light show that was designed to perfectly match this tour, Cryptex will also present new song material for the first time since the release of their highly acclaimed second album “Madeleine Effect”. Thus, they will prove why their anthems will reverberate even long after the German club dates this Fall and Winter.

Cryptex Biography
A sound that is smiling, swearing and living, lots of surrealism, amazing songs and charisma.
Apart from ambition and confidence, both important characteristics for a band, CRYPTEX stands out due to another characteristic: They are four musicians who have searched and found their own distinctive style! In their songs they experiment with an extensive “chemistry set” of music. The result is an impressive and highly explosive mixture of rock, alternative with slight folk attitude and prog-art of the old kind.
Thanks to these qualities, CRYPTEX has attracted the attention on the republic’s stages and of established music magazines since the beginning of 2009. The four musicians look back at a long list of concerts and successes which brought them an increasing number of fans and an enormous media presence all over Germany and large parts of Europe.
After 250 shows in about 22 countries, touring with big Prog/Metal-Acts like Threshold and Pain Of Salvation, a big arena show with Horror-Rock-Legend Alice Cooper, their first US appearance in february 2017, headlining tours, the enthusiasticly commended releases of their albums since the debut in 2011 as well as their first Live-DVD in 2012, this extraordinary formation with frontman Simon Moskon at its head evolved into a real insiders‘ tip, being a great entertainment value in Europe’s live sector.
