Academy Events in association with Fireball are extremely pleased to announce the line-up for the second annual ‘Fireball – Fuelling The Fire’ Tour.

Hitting the road throughout October 2017, the run of dates will feature a star studded line-up of the best in punk and ska, headlined by Huntingdon Beach, California’s legendary ska punk outfit Reel Big Fish, with support from California-based ska punks Mad Caddies.

Following the huge success of the inaugural 2016 leg featuring Less Than Jake, The Skints, Mariachi El Bronx, KEMURI and The Bennies - which sold nearly 20,000 tickets with eight dates at O2 Academy venues across the UK - the tour is fast becoming a calendar favourite amongst the alternative crowd.

In addition to the announced line up, Fireball’s Hottest Band 2017 winners, Sheffield quartet Sweet Little Machine, will take the opening slot on the 2017 leg of the ‘Fireball - Fuelling The Fire’ Tour, following recent support slots on tours with Me First & The Gimme Gimmes and Patent Pending, promoted by Academy Events.

Commenting on the news, Fireball UK brand manager James Pattison says: 'We’re delighted to be bringing the fire back after a hugely successful inaugural Fuelling The Fire Tour last year, and even more excited to bring you these awesome bands, all of which I’ve personally grown up listening to and loving. At Fireball UK we’re hugely committed to bringing great music experiences to the fans at prices that don’t cost the earth – and renewing the £10 ticket idea is central to that. These shows, much like last year, will be one big party!'

One of the best live music opportunities I've ever attended! This was a great evening for tapping into a genre I'd always floated around the edges of... Reel Big Fish played an absolutely stellar set!

This was my second Reel Big Fish show; I saw them first at The Extreme Thing 2010 in LV. They are just as good as I remember, and adapted really well to the (comparatively) smaller crowd. Great music, good humor, a couple gentle pits, and 2 hours of jam!The openers were alright. Not really to my taste.

It was really good but the crowd was too drunk and the floor was too slippery from all the spilled beer. The Queers where great and I really enjoyed the pit during their show regardless. The opening band was really good even with some feedback and technical problems. And the Expendables played well. Though it was rather expensive for tickets and at the reel big fish merch table. It feels like the took the song "Sell Out" too literally.

Fun as hell, Pkew Pkew Pkew is one of my new bands to follow, Anti-Flag gave the crowd raw energy and Reel Big Fish gave the crowd fun energy. Everything was great!

Reel Big Fish, Pkew Pkew Pkew and Ballyhoo put on amazing shows. Never been the biggest Anti-Flag fan and so I didn't really enjoy them but they did what they do well.
