About this concert
The' Where’s Brook' Tour, aptly named when Brook (lead signer of The Burbs) didn’t show up to the photo-shoot due to a dislocated shoulder he suffered from performing “Gnar”; perhaps even “Radcore” level manoeuvres on his skating deck. After snapping his rigid joint back into place, Brook has returned, bringing with him his 90’s infused garage pop band, the effervescent THE BURBS the burbs. Joining them on this co-headline tour will be the rampant indie rockers and serial pyjama enthusiasts Children of the Sun, slacker grunge punks, the reckless Tom Walker & The Sick Individuals, and rock’n’roll hatchlings Yes, Yes, Whatever. For some bizarre reason the group decided to share members, having 9 between the 4 bands. At the very least, even if you don’t like the music (why wouldn’t you), watching the recycled members deteriorate over the course of the night will be remarkably entertaining.Come and join The 'Where’s Brook' Tour!Tour Dates:19th May - The Workers Club Geelong, Geelong20th May - AIREYS PUB, Aireys Inlet24th May - The Old Bar, Melbourne26th May - The Edinburgh Castle Hotel, Adelaide

Tom Walker & The Sick Individuals Biography

Scrambling together slacker-punk and indie-rock styling, Surf Coast based Tom Walker and the Sick Individuals have developed a formidable sound. A prolific and unrestrained songwriter, Walker’s idiosyncratic approach yields a lyrical style that expresses the frustrations of young adulthood. Getting a job that diverts your attention, feeling suppressed by society, the pitfalls of lackadaisical lifestyle, the topics are ever pertinent to Australian youth. After recruiting his finest Sick Individuals late 2015, Rory Walker (Children Of The Sun), Matt Bourke (Velvet Bow), Oscar Galt (Oscar Galt & The Eventual Somethings), Tom Walker leads the charge in bringing his distinct flavour to the indie rock scene. Having recently dropped their first demo ‘Occupation” which received multiple plays on Triple J Unearthed radio, Tom Walker and the Sick Individuals continue to bring their cracking drums, fuzzy bass-lines, crunchy guitars, and candid vocals to the forefront of the Surf Coast, Geelong and Melbourne music scenes.
