El nombre del grupo proviene del álbum doble que Pink Floyd lanzó en el año 1969. Diez músicos sobre el escenario interpretan la música de Pink Floyd respetando lo más fielmente posible el trabajo realizado en los discos y sus presentaciones en vivo, acompañados por un gran despliegue visual generando un show multimedia de primer nivel. UMMAGUMMA, a lo largo de su historia, ha desarrollado sus shows en pubs e importantes teatros de la Capital Federal, interior del país y algunos paises de Latinoamérica como Ecuador, Perú y Uruguay. English version UMMAGUMMA, argentinian band which offers a tribute to Pink Floyd, was formed in Buenos Aires, at the beggining of 1998. The name arises from the Pink Floyd’s double album released in 1969. We are eleven musicians on stage interpreting Pink Floyds music, regarding as faithfully as possible the work done on their records and live performances, joined by a great visual lay-out generating a first line multimedia show. Throughout its history, UMMAGUMMA has performed shows in several stages and important theatres in the City of Buenos Aires (Argentine capital), another cities and South American countries.
