Re:place nasce nel 2016 come gruppo che decide di dare un taglio alla solita musica circolante per la Riviera. Inizialmente il gruppo era composto da Ivanhoe,Johnny Torrengo e Saul Merlino. Dopo varie serate, nell'estate del 2016 il gruppo riesce ad ottenere serate fisse al Miramare di Albenga e uno spazio radiofonico su One Dance dalle 20 alle 22.
Successivamente si unisce a loro Foxglove.
