ELI - The Band Biography
Formed on Halloween of 2010, ELI is an alternative rock band from Parsippany, New Jersey. We released our first full length album on September 3rd, 2013, our second one on August 21st, 2015, and our third one on September 18th, 2015. We love playing shows and having a good time. For us, it is all about the music and having fun. We are known for our interesting blend of different genres and our showmanship when we play live. We have participated in Morristown's First Night, Six Flags Fright Fest's Battle of the Bands, Skate & Surf's Break Contest 2014, and America's Got Talent. We took part in the 2016 Crusade for a chance to play The Food Truck and Rock Carnival, which we were invited to perform at. We were one of three acts to go on the mini 4 show Fresh From The Garden Tour alongside our good friends A Boy Named John and Chucky Hugh. We've opened for acts including Halestorm, Puddle of Mudd, Saliva, Hawthorne Heights, The Used, Sebastian Bach Dizzy Reed (from GnR), Jim Breuer, Smile Empty Soul, Patent Pending, This Good Robot, and The Racer. We also have played at and continue to play at places including the Stanhope House, Mexicali Live, BoonTunes (formerly the Canvas Clash), 10th Street Live, the Blue Room, and many other venues in northern/central NJ. With Conor Schaar (bass & vox), Paul Machado (guitar & vox), and Michael Sliker (drums), we are looking to play more shows, promote our three albums, and become more experienced musicians.
