MARISA NIKOLE - SINGER/SONGWRITER/MUSICIAN Growing up in Toledo, Ohio with a heavily influenced childhood in music and a love for singing at a very young age, music grew to be the essence of her core, and Marisa Nikole rendered herself to her passion and her gift of music and decided to pursue it as a career. At 8 years old, Marisa and her family made a life changing move from Toledo, Ohio to Redding, California. In 2013, she moved to Evans, Colorado from Redding, California. Slowly returning to her roots of music, she found a recording studio in Denver, Colorado and pursued her goals of recording her first solo EP, debut titled as "Anchor", the song she wrote that threw her back into songwriting and music after a devastating period in her life. Also, one of the very first songs she had written and collaborated on with a fellow friend and musician in Redding, California back in 2009. At the end of 2014, after a rocky divorce, she packed up her belongings and moved to Denver, Colorado for a new start and jumped right into the Denver music scene with her Acoustic Americana, Southern Roots-Rock vibe. With a uniquely tailored sound, and powerhouse vocals that are often compared to Artists like Adele, Florence & The Machine, and Kelly Clarkson, Marisa Nikole caught the attention of a local booking agent with her music on an online platform and started booking well-known venues in and around her residing city of Denver. She continues to catch the attention and the hearts of people who attend her shows and hear her live sets. With her melodically catchy music and earnestly heart wrenching lyrics about real situations with real people in her life, she inspires those who hear her with her intimate songs that are literally like pages from her diary.
