The Team

The Team is a rap group from Oakland, California and Berkeley, California. The group consists of 3 rappers, Clyde Carson, Mayne Mannish and Kaz Kyzah. They are associated with West Coast hip hop music. The Team has a unique sound that showcases the diversity of the 'hyphy movement'. They are best known for their local hit "It's Gettin' Hot" (2004). The Team re-gained popularity in late 2005 after dropping the singles "Just Go" and "Bottles Up" to promote their new album World Premiere. It was released on April 4, 2006. There are rumors of The Team in talks with major labels such as The Black Wall Street Records and G Unit. Clyde Carson is currently signed to Black Wall Street Records and has recorded a song with The Game and Snoop Dogg called "Lights, Camera, Action"
