Orange Glow

Orange Glow is the indie pop vehicle of alt. singer-songwriter Eric Hoogeweg. With different line-ups he recorded 3 albums in 2008, 2014 and 2018. New stuff will be released in 2023.

With his roots in lo-fi it al started with indie pop on the first album (the Magic Tale of Flying Kite in the Animal Kingdom). Growing to indie rock on 'Down to earth' (2014) and even more trippy postrock on the third album 'Have a safe trip, dear' (2018), a real band album.

After that Eric returned to the middle of nowhere in the north of Holland, where he built his own recording studio during the covid lockdowns. In his own domain Orange Glow returns to intimate indie songs again. For trippy band stuff (kraut rock) also check out the new band Red Uzum with Eric, drummer Marc (also on 2 Orange Glow albums) and bass player Han. First release also expected in 2023.
