Heirs of Zigardy Biography
Formed in 2016 (phoenix-like from the ashes of ‘Lions for a Day’) the ‘Heirs of Zigardy’ come from the musical melting pot that is North Yorkshire. They bring together an eclectic mix of generational musical influences together with creative song writing to amuse you with addictive, foot tapping tunes blended with a powerful pounding groove that even the sheep can’t resist.
When not 4 or more they are a unit of 3 and are first and foremost a family band. Father Steve plays bass, son Jonny plays guitar and sings and Paul son/brother in law (or as he is often referred to, the holy ghost.) plays lead. They have just finished recording their first E.P. (BLOW featuring 1. Crazy Fool 2. It aint news (you’re my muse) 3. Echo me 4. Winning Man) that will be launched in Leeds on the 13th May at the 360 club.
