Artificial Lavender

Hello! We are [Artificial Lavender] from the Heart of Silicon Valley! We compose and perform the shoegaze and dream pop inspired music of your dreams in the vein of Ride and Lush. We are currently gigging at coffee houses, open mics, city events, personal events, and pretty much anywhere else that will allow a group of high school girls to play!

[Artificial Lavender] started as a two-piece band. Sami and Kyra originally played rhythm and lead guitar for [AL]'s first gig on April 30th, 2016. After some unfruitful time combing the earth for more band mates, Raven and Sahana were beamed in from galaxies unknown to take over the rhythm and lead guitar tasks respectively, while Sami moved over to bass and Kyra jumped to drums. Alas, the band was complete!

The difference in our music is apparent; with a big, open, dreamy sound not found in other bands. Our sonic canvas is made even more colorful with the addition of four-part harmonies. That's right...one, two, three, four-parts! We give 112.6412% at every gig and always enjoy performing. Every gig has been a complete success and we intend to keep the energy going.
