Tom Hugo

Tom Hugo hit the German Top 100 radio charts in 2011 with his debut single, Open Up Your Eyes. He released his debut album, Sundry Tales the following year, and has since been a regular contributor to Norway’s music scene with live performances and single releases. But most of his days, Tom has written songs for other artists. Some of them have ended up on Echo-nominated albums and radio-charts in Germany, some on #1 selling singles and albums by Japanese, Korean and Chinese popstars. His songs have made Tom a true citizen of the world, writing and recording in Berlin, Los Angeles, Beijing and Tokyo with A-list producers. Tom has two cities he calls home. He swaps between Kristiansand, a beatiuful, slightly conservative small town in the south of Norway and Berlin, a liberal melting pot of creative souls from all corners of the world. With one foot in each world, Tom has found a balance perfect for his creativity: Kristiansand provides him with peace, while he can find inspiration in Berlin’s alternative scene.
