One Night Rodeo Biography
With over 3,000 performances in their career this hard working, seasoned act prepared to launch into Country music stardom. ONR boasts their tenure after performing shows with many country music superstars such as Rascal Flats, Keith Urban, Montgomery Gentry, Charlie Daniels, Trace Adkins, Gary Allan, Eric Church, Darryl Worley, Rodney Atkins, The Mavericks, Randy Houser, Jerrod Niemann, Justin Moore, Chris Cagle, Steve Holy, Tracy Lawrence, Lauren Alaina, Tracy Byrd, Clay Walker, Craig Morgan, Kix Brooks, Lonestar and many more.
ONR won the nationally televised The Next GAC Star competition out of thousands of contestants. The show was seen by over 54 million viewers throughout America and ONR gained an even larger fan base as they progressed to first place. The Next GAC Star brought the opportunity for ONR work with legendary music producers Desmond Child and Victoria Shaw. The wealth of knowledge received from these music professionals and the other celebrity mentors from the show helped polish ONR’s image and stage presence. After the competition the band released their first single, 'Alive and Living', which yielded significant airplay on country radio stations and the video received a great response from viewers voting to keep it on the GAC Top 20 Countdown for 11 weeks strong.
In 2010 One Night Rodeo enlisted the help of award winning songwriter Kim Tribble as their producer and began writing songs for their next album. This talented collaboration resulted in the self-titled ONR album, sometimes referred to as the "Black CD". We Could Go To Jail & Real Good are two singles from this record, released to country radio which stayed on the Top40 country music charts for 20 consecutive weeks each. The band feels the Black CD is a great representation of just how vast their range of musical influences run. “
