Treacherous Dogs Biography
Treacherous Dogs are an English indie rock band, formed in London in 2013, consisting of Lewis Parker (lead vocals, lead/rhythm guitar), Dean Meekings (bass guitar), Liam Sinnott (drums, backing vocals) & Joe Chaimberlain (Rhythm Guitar). Formed after the split of their previous band, The Jude, the trio immediately set about writing and producing new material in Parker’s own studio in North London with the aim of following up the success of previous works, such as the popular single ‘Les Filles Francaises’ which was on rotation at BBC Radio 1, BBC6 Introducing and XFM, as well as other regional radio stations. The song received favourable reviews from all, with Huw Stevens and Steve Lamacq championing the track. TD’s sound has been described as an eclectic mix of 70s garage rock infused with northern soul beats and punk/surf rock inspired guitars. Their influences are said to range from The Strokes, New Order, Dick Dale, The Smiths, Arctic Monkeys and Northern Soul acts. The band is currently touring the UK and have plans to complete and release their debut EP in late 2014, supported by a UK/European tour. Treacherous Dogs are an English Indie Rock band based in London.
