Lumanation Biography
Lumanation, inspired by the sounds of ska, dub, and the Caribbean, has been consistently filling local dance houses, clubs and bars over the last decade with new and devoted fans of their upbeat reggae rock music throughout Northern California. A (6) member band with one of the most charismatic and energetic lead singers you’ll ever experience, your audiences are guaranteed to be entertained and left wanting more. Lumanation’s message is real and genuine; their music full of positive loving vibrations filled with hope and power. From laid back vibes to high-energy reggae rock, Lumanation’s music and passion make believers of even the most discriminating listeners. Their mission? To uplift, invigorate and raise consciousness with music that rocks the house and touches the heart, mind and soul of people across nations and of all ages. Over the past years, Lumanation has drawn at-capacity crowds to local Bay Area clubs (such as Georges in San Rafael, Mystic in Petaluma) and has established itself as a popular band, both as a headliner as well as opener. But Lumanation gives you more than a band that audiences can’t help but dance all night to…it gives you Bobby G, a performance unto himself – that man sets fire to every stage he walks on to and never fails to put on a full blown show. As one fan says, "I'm not just blowing smoke…honestly I can't think of any performer who works as hard and can get people dancing even against their will. I thank you for bringing GOOD music to this town, and for so many years. One Love. We RECOGNIZE what Bob Marley said, “One good thing about music (when it hits you), you feel no pain,” and we want to bring it to the people around us.
