Deandre

Boston native, Omar Ali Omar, began his journey as DeAndre, a rising recording artist, and producer in 2010. His influences stem from his time growing up in Dorchester, using his struggles as the focal point of his music. Since the beginning of his musical path, DeAndre developed his multifaceted talent that showcases many components of his music and persona collectively. In 2012, he founded SubCulture Records alongside Newton Pervaiz (N.A.P.) in 2012, and for six years he spent his time crafting a sound that he is ready to share with the world. DeAndre’s music is as versatile as he is as an artist and sounds equally comfortable on a dance floor as it does at home. DeAndre’s music draws inspiration from J. Cole, Kanye West, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, and Big K.R.I.T. “If you listen to any of my songs, you can always hear the details; you’ll always see the picture I’m trying to paint. I want people to know all of me when it's all said and done.”
