That record's plainspoken title laid out the disarmingly simple tone for his career; the development of his craft since then has resulted in sharper songwriting, more musical ornamentation, and tours with the likes of Andrew Bird and Califone. More recently, with the album ALEXANDRIA - the Brooklyn-based troubadour's sixth studio album. High Plains Jamboree Biography

It’s been said that High Plains Jamboree is a bluegrass band west of the Mississippi and a country band east of the Mississippi. While each musician’s resume is impressive in its own right, this new collaboration between long time friends has already gained national and international attention. “High Plains Jamboree brings to the stage everything that we love about folk and roots music: a beautiful tapestry of homespun lyrics, instrumentation, and high lonesome harmonies.” –Jenni Finlay, Jenni Finlay Promotions, Eight 30 Records High Plains Jamboree: Brennen Leigh, Noel McKay, Simon Flory
