Kizzy Biography
Kizzy is a Dutch Pop singer-songwriter, poet, tv presenter and actress.
She burst into the spotlight with the collaborative hit 'Cocktail - Lamu Lamu’, a best-selling album in the Caribbean. She later recorded the soulful album ‘Unspoken Rhyme’ and went back to Pop, Rock and Tropical Dance music after that.
She won several talent competitions, including the National Song Festival. Winning in the finals of the Caribbean Songfestival (the Caribbean version of the Eurovision Song Contest) skyrocketed her carreer and led to her move to America on a scholarship.
Kizzy studied acting and performance for TV at Emmerson College, dance at the Boston Conservatory, and graduated from the conservatory Berklee College of Music. During her eleven years in the USA she presented TV shows and performed with world-renowned artists.
Aside from her trademark dance moves, Kizzy sings in multiple languages and at times accompanies herself on the piano.
She now lives in the Netherlands where she was born.
