Green George

Green George Born in Ireland, the 30 year old now calls Perth, Australia home. His keen ear for music started at an early age getting his first wheels of steel at just 14. He doesn’t put a “sub genre” on what he feels most comfortable playing and producing, “its all just house music”. Green George has well and truly established himself on the Perth and Australian house music scene. He won “Best House DJ 2013” at the Perth Dance Music Awards and has supported some of the industry heavy weights over the years, from Darren Emerson to Mark Knight and MK. His exceptional ability to read the crowd is what has earned him residencies at Perth’s best venues, his keen ear and inquisitive nature quickly drew him to production where he finds himself enjoying making house beats while others enjoy the sun! His first release "Awakening" came out on Miami based label Heavenly Bodies Records in late 2014, followed up by an EP "Start A Fight" that came out in March of this year on the same label. Second release for the year “Out Of Love” came out on Italian based label T.C Records. With a string of releases on the likes of The Purr and Musica Gourmet His music is quickly gaining momentum. His release “Hooked On You” on the world famous King Street Sound’s received a lot of attention around the world and beatport, getting into the top 30 on the indie dance/nu disco charts!! Being one of the biggest upcoming artists in Perth landed him on “The Woods” stage at Stereosonic 2015 playing alongside the likes of MK Claptone and Patrick topping.
