A Baltimore native, 23-year-old jazz vocalist, trumpeter, and composer Nico Sarbanes is already emerging as one of the city’s most talented young performers, combining a virtuosic technique on the trumpet with an impressive command of the vocal repertoire of the Great American Songbook. A graduate of the esteemed jazz program at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University in Montreal, his growing list of performance credits includes shows with Antonio Hart, Warren Wolf, Winard Harper, Dick Oatts, and Tim Green.
