Ilydaen + Meniscus + God Is An Astronaut Plus énergique que les combos habituels post-rock du genre, le groupe belge Ilydaen nous plonge dans des abîmes de noirceur et d’introspection. Meniscus, groupe de post-rock de Sydney souvent comparé à Mogwai, Sigur Rós, Isis ou Cog, se plaît à assembler les éléments de nappes de guitares, d’influences hard, électronique ou psychédélique. Formé en 2002 par deux frères jumeaux irlandais, God Is An Astronaut est devenu en quelques années un groupe à la renommée internationale et l’un des groupes de post-rock les plus connus de sa génération.

Ilydaen [ilidæn] is an alternative band created in 2009. Inspired by bands like Russian Circles, Isis or Kaospilot, Ilydaen is a mix of instrumental melodies and cutting edge riffs.
After their first albums “Digressions” and “Maze”, they’re releasing their last 60 minutes double LP “Veil” on Dunk!records, this year 2017.
They had the chance to build themselves through six European tours, more than a hundred of gigs, multiples studio sessions, and they’re looking forward going that way!
"Ilydaen has the merit of being appreciated by amateurs of different style. Excluding all the pejorative side, one could almost describe the music of Ilydaen as easy-listening since it is enjoyed alone like at an aperitif or at a jogging where there are 1000 attenders (true-story). Something like a good David Lynch film (...)"
