Engaging, wonderfully quirky, a coherent bridge between jazz and film music in a swaggering Kurt Weillish ambiance. One evocative mood after another - Jazzwise Magazine

You'll be charmed, humoured, enticed and tickled! Music executed with accuracy, delicacy, emotional depth and energy - Julian Joseph BBC R3

I can't stop playing this album - Clare Teal BBC Radio 2

The Cloggz play beautiful, cinematic re-imaginings of such composers as Ennio Morricone, Tom Waits, John Williams and Brad Mehldau as well as original compositions taking in jazz, Klezmer, tango, folk and film music. Lyrical improvisation is deftly intertwined with intricate ensemble playing.

The band recently had a concert broadcasted on BBC R3's 'Jazz Line Up', and have been featured guests on Clare Teal's radio 2 show.

Their debut album Sawdust and Spangles received rave reviews and reached number 5 in the I tunes Jazz chart.

Formed 5 years ago by Mark Edwards (Katie Melua, Dave Stewart, Paul Weller, Terry Callier, Carleen Anderson, Roddy Frame, Daryl Hall) the band have performed sell out shows at Brighton's Emporium Theatre and Old Market. They have also appeared at The Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Love Supreme Festival, Brighton Festival and St James's Theatre, London.
