Salem Walk

Salem Walk is an Austin, Texas band whose sound ranges from 60’s psychedelia to 90’s alternative-rock. The band consists of JoDee Purkeypile (vocals, guitar, and keyboard), Sean Crooks (bass and vocals), Jason Morris (guitar and vocals), Esther Garcia (guitar, keyboard, and vocals), and Michael Jade (drums). Following the breakup of The band was formed in early 2013 after the release of JoDee’s second solo album, Messenger. In the autumn of 2015, the group began working on material for what was planned to become Purkeypile’s third solo album, but by mid 2016 it was decided they would perform and record as Salem Walk. JoDee, Sean, Jason, and Esther, along with ex-Alice Rose keyboardist Brendan Rogers, began recording sessions for their debut album that August at Estuary Recording in Austin. Drummer Michael Jade joined in late September. Salem Walk is set to release their debut single “Mystery Design” in early 2017.https://www.facebook.com/salemwalk/
