Chris Plant Jr.

“I am who I am because of what I’ve been through.” Born in White Castle, LA, 29-year-old Chris Plant, Jr. was confronted with many obstacles early in his life, but thanks to his relationship with God, he sees those struggles as experiences that shaped the man he has become. Chris’ dream to be a gospel-recording artist started as a small seed at the age of eight when he began playing music. His love for gospel music is rooted in his dedication to the ministry of God’s Word. A faithful servant of God, he has been in the ministry since he was 17 years old, preaching his first sermon at the age of 18. In 2015, Chris became a licensed, ordained minister, and today, he is the minister and music director at Antioch Baptist Church in Brusly, LA and Greater Beech Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, LA. Chris’ hunger for the Word of God fuels his passion for gospel music as a way to reach people and draw them to Christ because he strongly believes God’s word when it says:

Above all things, Chris is proud to be a worshipper of Christ and a lover of people. He has a heart for touching the lives of others with the Word and leading them to God’s Kingdom through music and ministry. He firmly believes in glorifying the Lord by putting on the whole Armor of God and always working to do things God’s Way by putting Him first.



Chris is the proud and loving husband of HIS phenomenal queen, Bianca Plant.
