Those Pretty Wrongs is a unique musical project involving two old friends, Jody Stephens and Luther Russell.Jody Stephens is a founder and only surviving original member of Big Star. Although largely overlooked during their lifetime, Big Star became one of the most important bands in the history of rock music, having a massive influence on the likes of REM, Teenage Fanclub, Primal Scream, Wilco and too many others to mention. He's also an acclaimed record producer, and runs the legendary Ardent recording studios in Memphis.Luther Russell was the leader of seminal roots-rock band The Freewheelers and is now anacclaimed solo artist and producer of such acts as Richmond Fontaine. Those Pretty Wrongs combine brilliant songwriting ability and glorious musicianship with a history that encompasses everything from power pop to acoustic indie.
