So I have nothing against Jim Breuer and I’m actually kind of a fan of his comedy, but omfg I just wanted to strangle him at the show. Here’s why: so pretty much what happened was that Jim Breuer came out and did some comedy, trivia and shit like that to get us hyped for Metallica. But the only major problem with it is that it went on for hours. I was getting so damn antsy and pissed off in my seat wishing Jim would just go tf away and that Metallica would just come on. Finally after like 2 hours Metallica finally came on and they put on an absolutely incredible show. A little disappointed that they didn’t play Wherever I May Roam, Fade To Black, Fuel and The Memory Remains but besides that it was a kick ass show
Amazing show. So impressed with these guys. They put on a great show and the format (in the round ) was really coo cuz we all got see them perform at different angles ...really cool idea and shows they really care about their fans experience (this among a number of other things they do at their shows to show they care) . I really super appreciate these guys and of course love their music ...Forever. One love
Whiplash was absolutely amazing! Great package! Totally worth the extra money we were right by where James came off the stage for his breaks. I saw the show 2 days before in Idaho and had the hardwired package! So I knew the drill they changed up the set list a bit and the buffet so it was a unique experience. I would do it again!
Great concert, Metallica always delivers. One complaint. I bought the tickets that were on a higher section and the sound didn't come as good. Not sure what it was, I guess that happens with closed places sometimes. I don't know if that's a Vivint Arena thing, or Metallica's equipment although I doubt it, the two previous time I saw them that did not happen at all. Metallica is great though.
The show was awesome! This was the second time in 3 days that I have seen them. The first time I had the Hardwired package and the next time I had the Whiplash package. Both packages were well worth the money. I enjoyed the show just as much the second time as I had a completely different experience. The first night I had the sound board earphones and had the best seats in the house the second night I was on the floor right by where James was coming off stage. Food was great and different in Idaho and SLC. Crew was awesome as well!
Jim Breuer was great as the opening act and getting the crowd pumped up with his comedy, karaoke, and fan interaction. Metallica of course had a great setlist. Old hits mixed with new material would make any fan happy. What knocked down the experience was the high volume of the bass drum...I couldn't hear the guitar and vocal work as much as I wanted to. Maybe it's because I was in the 200 level?
