20 Reasons Taken Biography

20 Reasons Taken has been together since 2002... working hard at perfecting their craft and branching out to the masses. Sept 2004 saw the release of their first full-length record "Redefine the Sound." Today you can hear songs from this album on radio stations throughout the US and Canada, and peaked at 16 on the CMJ charts. "Redefine The Sound" was nominated for "Best Rock Album" at the Madison Area Music Awards. July 2008 the group released their second full-length record titled "In The Current." Summerfest 2010 the group was part of the Emerging Artist Series, and landed a track on the compilation CD. July 2010 the group released their third full-length record titled "Through This Fight" which was later nominated for "Best Rock Album" at the Madison Area Music Awards. The group was also nominated for "Best Rock Group." The song "Calling Out" was used heavily for a Summerfest advertising campaign in commercials airing on stations like 102.1 (Milwaukee), 94.1 (Madison), Q101 (Chicago), along with sporting events at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. 20 Reasons Taken is one of the most versatile bands in WI, and has shared the stage with bands like Three Days Grace, Nonpoint, Drowning Pool, Public Enemy, Sick Puppies, Alien Ant Farm, Zeale, Drugs Delaney, Hurt, Sponge, Bobaflex, Royal Bliss, 3 Pill Morning, Artifex Pereo, Oceans Divide, SOil, Me Talk Pretty (Cilver), Primer 55, AM Taxi, American Bang, Quiet Drive, Sing It Loud, Throw The Fight, Red Line Chemistry, Lucky Boys Confusion, Ludo, Malik Yusef, Seven Day Sonnet, Avenues, The Meslimatics, The Action Blast, Inept, The Dog and Everything, The Goodyear Pimps, The Crest, Danger Is My Middle Name, Chasing Taylor, The Rusty P's, Goddess and She, Northern Room, Erin Martin (The Voice), The Bodeans, and The Gufs.
