The Hod Biography
The HOD are a young power trio from London ready to let you jump on your feet with their alt-rock music.
The band formed in 2014 when singer/songwriter/guitarist Francis met the drummer Simon and Mark the bassplayer/pianist. Fueled by a mutual interest in alt-rock, the three
began playing original material in their small town back to Italy and after 2 years the band moved to London, where’s the sound became more recognisable, a mix between 80’s vibes and modern rock with a spray of grunge.
Excited as they were with the new sounds they were laying down, the band released his first EP -5490- and start to busking in the streets of London to play and sell directly the copies of the Ep. “Young but with an impressive sound, with songs with lots of potential. A mix of The Cure and the energy of Biffy Clyro” , “A band full of energy and passion for the crowd” or “A mix of uplifting, awesome and energetic sound” as said the host of Best of British Unsigned Artist. Busking every day in the streets helped the band to reach more fans and get them the chanche to play during the LONDON PRIDE 2016 or at ALEXANDER PALACE Festival 2016 and Trafalgar Square during the INTERNATIONAL BUSKIN DAY. After a year of gig around the capital, the band will start to record the second EP with the help of the people met everyday in the streets and planning a UkTour for the 2017.
