Sound the alarms and celebrate -- Welsh band The Alarm are back in LA. This new wave/alternative group first struck it big in the '80s, when touring with monster acts like Bob Dylan and U2 exposed large audiences to The Alarm. Hit songs like "Sixty Eight Guns," "Sold Me Down the River" and "Rain in the Summertime" made those audiences devoted fans. Led once again by original lead vocalist Mike Peters, who recently served as lead singer for Big Country, The Alarm is now akin to an all-star band culled from some of the best groups of 1980s British alternative music, with members who've played in The Cult, Gene Loves Jezebel, Sisters of Mercy and Stiff Little Fingers. See The Alarm in concert at The Rose in Pasadena.
