Chapin-Wickwar

Chapin-Wickwar first played at TwickFolk 11 months ago. After supporting Morrigan in late June they returned in October for a feature spot on a singers' night. This June we welcome Lisa and Sue back for a full concert and the launch of their new album. it's so new, that at time of writing I don't what it will be called. I do know we heard a couple of songs in October and they were excellent. Their performance will put you in mind of Janis Ian and Suzanne Vega, both in terms of voices and song-writing ability.Sue and Lisa met in 2013 and have been singing together ever since. Their début album 'If...' was nominated for the FolkWords 2015 Album Awards for 'Best Album from a Duo' ("Lisa and Sue Chapin-Wickwar have with 'If' created something that's so close to gorgeous the result is exquisite" - Tim Carroll, FolkWords).
