Because of the recent political developments and the current state of DIY venues in LA, we felt inspired to host a battle show fundraiser for The Smell! The theme of the night is for bands to share inspirational experiences that they've had as musicians/bands/humans through their music! Some bands will be covering a song or two by other bands seen at The Smell and/or playing new material inspired by experiences/feelings regarding the state of affairs in our DIY community/country. Come out, listen to music, and meet some new homies! All the money for the night will be going to Jim to help out with financing the new location.
