OK ... Here goes...Why the name change ???

" The New Lords" is a band rising from the embers of the legendary "Blue Lords Band" that was suddenly and abruptly ended in 2015. While the road of rock and roll is littered with stories of such... true fans rally and encourage those remaining to carry on its legacy and continue on, such is the case here. While the legalities and squabbles over a band's name and other unimportant things come into play in such a transition... the blood, sweat, and tears of founding members cannot be denied or refuted. Guitarist and vocalist, Tony Bullard, being the last original member of the band after the sudden departure of co-founding member Steve Archer and his decision to leave the group to devote himself solely, with our best wishes, to a Christian ministry, has decided with the love and encouragement of long time band members Charlie Aycock and Steve Wiley along with the support of family and our devoted and loyal crew members Brian Gridley, Joyce Gridley,and countless others to carry on its legacy. The original 4 co-founding members who started the band together ... Andrew McNeely, the late Keith Matthews, Tony Bullard and Archer leave an unprecedented 25 year run as "The Blue Lords" is secure... "The New Lords" aim to keep climbing the mountains and reaching for the stars as they feel the last chapter is yet to be written...and with the love and support of you all we shall write that final chapter together....Much love.. now...
