Katie Grace Helow is a singer, songwriter, and musician born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Her latest album “Past Lives” is a folkrock-inspired collaboration with longtime friend Zach Lever, showcasing Helow’s dark, emotional songwriting and Lever’s driving electric guitar accompaniment. Released in November of 2015 as a double vinyl record, the two musicians tracked guitar, bass, drums, and vocals at Jacksonville’s own Chromatic Studios, and performed with a full band at the release party held in the historic Barnett Bank Building downtown. Katie Grace Helow has headlined many shows over the years as well as opened for notable acts such as Chris Isaak, Junip, and Loudon Wainwright III. She was recently the musical guest during a live broadcast of the beloved public radio show ‘Michael Feldman’s Whad’Ya Know?’ at the Florida Theatre, with Feldman stating that her voice was “…everything a voice should be. It’s sad, it’s beautiful, it makes ya think.
