Sparks fly when opera phenoms Ailyn Pérez and Bryan Hymel join together for Gounod's lush adaptation of "Roméo et Juliette" at the Met in New York. The stage sizzles as these stars play the world's most famous star-crossed lovers, and you can enjoy it in style with a glass of champagne (or non-alcoholic beverage) included with your ticket. This production, by director Bartlett Sher, has already won acclaim for its vivid 18th-century sets and stunning costumes during runs at Salzburg and La Scala. The "Huffington Post" said the "brilliant and inspired new production ... is a revelation." Plácido Domingo conducts the sumptuous score.
