House Of Virus Biography

DJ/Producer partnership between Manchester based idea machine & home grown Lithuanian music addict has spawned a virus so delightfully infectious you’ll feel no regrets catching it! Watch out - it’s already spreading around the globe! “House Of Virus” is not just a collab, it’s a joint venture between two electronic music virtuosos Virus J & Dirty Orkestra with a rich industry experience dating to post recession England in the 90s and time when Lithuania’s dance music culture started to shape. Their separate music journeys have taken them to perform at legendary Hacienda events as well as residencies in Pacha franchise & Kazantip Republic. They had a chance to spin the decks alongside artists like Underworld, John Digweed, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, D Ramirez, Gus Gus, Above & Beyond as well as tour around the world with iconic band “The Fall” and that’s just to name a few. But don’t get fooled – this can only say they know their way around the decks and with the crowd. Let their music speak for itself! Former productions include tracks with industry heavyweight Sandy Rivera (Kings Of Tomorrow), remixes for Moussa Clarke, Rui Da Silva, Deep Forest and many others including U.S. R’n’B extraordinaire T-Pain. Hidden under the moniker “House Of Virus” now they are more energetic than ever before. Blessed by Marshall Jefferson - the godfather of house music himself, they instantly captured the attention of SKINT Records, a home for Fatboy Slim resulting in already scheduled releases for early 2013. And that’s only a tip of the iceberg, more than 20 releases planned throughout the period of the year with quite a few in 2012 appearing on “Influential House” label including “Try Groovin’” EP & remix featuring Angie Brown a true house classics vocalist. Get ready – they are coming to seize your speakers, ears, bodies & souls. Play it loud! Music Is Contagious
