I experienced one of the most meaningful random acts of kindness ever in my life on 12/30/18. As I'm sure you can imagine, seeing Dave Chapelle & John Mayer together that night was outstanding! We had seats about 5 rows from the top of the venue which was good enough for me. After Jeffrey Ross opened and John Mayer was playing his 2nd song, ( my all time favorite JM song) a woman walking up the stairs bent down and handed my friend 2 tickets. We thought she was asking if she was in the right place but that wasn't it at all. She told my friend, as he had the aisle seat, that she & her husband couldn't stay and wanted us to have their tickets. We thanked her and she walked away. Turns out the seats were in the 2nd row of the section just above the floor, right next to the stage!! It was the perfect spot..nothing obstructing our view, close enough to see their facial expressions, and smell Chapelle's cigarette smoke. I still can't believe it happened and wish I could tell that woman how deeply her random act of kindness touched me. I have no idea who she was and most likely never will. It was literally one of the best things that has ever happened to me considering how much I love John Mayer. I am going to do my best to pay it forward and will be forever grateful to that beautiful woman... whoever she was. ❤❤❤❤❤
I bet john Mayer would be pissed you're just calling it John Mayer concert. Bobby, Billy, Mickey, Jeff Otiel and Johnny freaking killed it. it was one of the best dead and company shows yet and I couldn't be more grateful for being able to experience that one live.
I had an unbelievable experience. Very disappointed a beer and a water cost $19. It's all about people coming together and having a few drinks. It's kind of rape charging that much, but overall great night.
John was PHENOMENAL!!!!! The concert felt very personal. The medleys were FABULOUS!! The Trio was OVER THE TOP!!! PerFect Saturday night, John. PERFECT!!The Night Game ... lead vocalist has amazing voice. That's all I'll say about that.
I give JM 5 stars (the app would only let me got to 4.5). He played a lot of his new stuff. Although I may have preferred hearing more of his classics, he was magnificent. He's having a lot of fun playing this tour, you can tell.
