Legendary singer/songwriter Chris de Burgh returns for a night of his best-loved hits and live cuts from his brand new album, A Better World. The "A Better World" Canadian Tour visits 16 Canadian cities from coast to coast. De Burgh has a very special relationship with Canada as he explains, "It was one of the first countries that really embraced my music, and the atmosphere of playing there is just electrifying. My music goes back a very long way there, and it will be an enormous pleasure to reacquaint myself personally with both Canada - the beautiful, wide open nation - and its wonderful people." With sales over 50 million albums worldwide, Chris de Burgh's songs are staples on the radio. "The Lady In Red" to this day remains one of the most played songs on the planet. De Burgh's other classic songs include: "Don't Pay the Ferryman", "Spanish Train", "Patricia the Stripper", "High on Emotion" and "A Spaceman Came Traveling".

Would have liked to have seen him starting with his classic romantic ballads and then mixing up new and classic rock songs. A good lively finish and surprised to learn Africa by Toto was actually first penned and performed by him. A good concert for Chris's fans but I appreciated his talent as it was a well planned performance and for 2.5hrs he was good valued entertainment.

Due to a 30 min sound problem at the start it spoilt it a little. When his mic was fixed everything was fine.

There's no way Edmonton was "the best crowd he's played to in a long time", least of all with the lady behind us talking at the same volume I project when I shout, but Chris and the band were just about flawless, so I can't dock points for their performance.
