Eddie G

Eddie G is a local Hip Hop artist born and raised in Fresno, California. His music reflects his experience growing up in The Valley, rather that be lamenting the tribulations of the city's degeneration, or celebrating the spirits of the people who live in a town fighting for survival. Eddie G strives to capture the voice of the every day Fresnan struggling to get by in a city that can be as dark as it is light. His habit of juxtaposing heavy themes of city-life frustration against reckless party experiences is apparent in his 2016 LP "G". Highlights from the project include "When I Die" which illustrates the artist's struggle with self-doubt and fear of failure in a city where the odds often work against you. The mood of the project is quickly turned around, however, by the uplifting "Do You See Me Now" and "Roll On," both serving as triumphant anthems of hope and positivity. Eddie G has been steadily recording since 2005. He excels in music production and engineering for his own work as well as other artists in the Fresno area. Throughout his career he has remained dedicated to capturing the essence of Fresno living: the good, the bad, and the G. Keep it G.
