Film « GILDA» A Buenos Aires, au lendemain de la seconde guerre mondiale, Johnny Farrell, un joueur médiocre devient ami avec Ballon Mundson, propriétaire d'une maison de jeu. Ballin présente sa femme, la capiteuse Gilda, à Johnny qui reconnaît en elle l'amante fatale qui fut jadis la cause de sa déchéance. Entre ces trois êtres, des relations étranges prennent forme. Caché sous le label "film noir", Gilda met à nu l'entourage d'une femme fatale au charme inopérant, audacieux camouflage d'un sujet impossible à traiter à l'époque, l'homosexualité masculine.

Gilda Biography
Talented singer Gilda started getting involved in music while organizing festivals at a Catholic school. After meeting musician Tito Giménez, the teacher became a backup singer, joining a band called la Barra and soon participating in a second project named Crema Americana. In 1993, Giménez convinced her to start a solo career, recording De Corazón A Corazón after signing up to local label Magenta. The following year, Corazón Herido was released. In 1995, Pasito A Pasito came out, getting the hit song "No Me Arrepiento De Este Amor." Later, while touring the country to promote her album Corazón Valiente, Gilda's career ended tragically. The artist passed away after a car accident on September 7, 1996. ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
