David Rice Music

Being a child born in a true generation gap and the youngest of six kids, David has a very eclectic and diverse musical influence. He lies somewhere on the road where Bob Dylan meets Vivaldi, where Green Day meets John Denver , where David Grey meets Tommy Makem. As a kid, David was immersed in what he calls "bedrock music" as a classically trained Double Bassist and an actor/singer in the Musical Theatre World. He used those musical building blocks he picked up along the way and now applies them to his guitar playing, composing and performing. David is currently a Principal Member & Songwriter for his Celtic - Americana Folk Fusion Band - The Rice Brothers. They have released their Debut Record - LIVE AT BYRNE'S PUB - and planning a killer 2017 Tour. When he's not playing with them, David is a regular on the circuit in the Central Ohio Area bringing his amazing voice to the works of some of the greatest songwriters of all time.
