Fernanda Froes-Pruett is a Brazilian-American Musician (Singer, Songwriter, Bassist, Guitarist, Music Producer and Vocal Coach) from São Paulo, Brazil, residing in California, USA, for over a decade, where she became known as "The Brazilian Flame".

Fernanda's music style is a blend of Brazilian Music, Soul Music, Blues, Acoustic Rock and Indie Rock.
Her musical influences are very eclectic, going from Billie Holiday, Joni Mitchell, Joyce Moreno, Rita Lee and Sade Adu to Alphonso Johnson, Lenny Kravitz, Simply Red and Sting.

Fernanda Froes-Pruett's Music CD “From Brasil” was released in the United States, in 2018. The songs were recorded, produced and mixed in Brazil, and mastered at Sterling Sound Studios, in New York.

The album's first song, “O Limite” (by Fernanda Froes-Pruett & Bukassa Kabengele), was featured on KPFK 90.7 FM - Pacifica Radio, in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and San Diego, California.

Among the stellar team of musicians who participated on this CD, Fernanda had, as a special guest, guitarist Scott Henderson (from Chick Corea and Tribal Tech).

Fernanda Froes-Pruett is a natural born Artist, who inherited the Music genes from her mother's side of the family, where most of her ancestors and relatives were musicians.

Fernanda was born and raised in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, one of the biggest metropolises in the world.

She started learning the basics of Music, singing and also playing guitar, with her grandfather, who was a seasoned guitarist. Got her first bass guitar when she was ten, after meeting Gene Simmons, the bassist from KISS, in person, for the first time.

Fernanda started playing in a Blues band, as a bassist, at the age of thirteen. Later on, at fifteen, she also started singing and playing in a couple of bands, and traveled with them to play at festivals and events around the South East of Brazil.

Fernanda Froes-Pruett moved from São Paulo, Brazil, to California, USA, for the first time, in 1993, when she studied at MI - Musicians Institute, in Hollywood, which later led her to attend Santa Monica College, in Santa Monica, and also a UCLA Extension Program, in Los Angeles.

After finishing her studies in the United States, Fernanda Froes-Pruett went back to Brazil and got a record deal with recording label "Gravadora Eldorado", which released her first Music CD "O Seu Dom", in 1997.

Since then, Fernanda has had an extensive music career, always performing both as a solo artist, and with a band accompanying her, throughout the years.

Besides all that, Fernanda Froes-Pruett also worked as an Executive Producer through the company "Fernanda Froes Produções Artísticas", which she co-founded, in 1996, in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, producing and promoting shows for many musicians and bands.
