And all from the subterranean comfort of the charming Green Note basement.Tonight featuring AK Patterson + Holly Redford Jones + Zander SharpAK PATTERSONAK Patterson's music stems from a background in folk and roots music, having grown up learning the fiddle in Cambridge regularly performing at the Cambridge Folk Festival. Her songs tell dark and mysterious stories, described by Fetea Showcases as feeling "like they could have evolved from a deal done at the crossroads back in the thirties".HOLLY REDFORD JONESHolly is a singer-songwriter from Chesterfield, now based in Oxford after graduating in politics there in 2016. She combines a love of songwriters such as Leonard Cohen and Paul Simon with a powerful vocal and smokey range, which she has honed over the last few years singing into the wee small hours with some of Oxford's finest jazz bands. Holly performs her songs both solo and accompanied by her talented band comprised of John Paul (Bass), Ed MacLean (Sax & Keys) and Chris Cottell (Drums). In February 2017 she releases her debut EP, The Future.'ZANDER SHARPSharp has fantastic vocal control, being able to dance in the upper ranges of his voice without a single duff moment. Along with his solid guitar playing and uplifting melodies, Sharp treated the growing audience with his remarkable musicianship. Active on the Oxford and London music scenes, Sharp seems set to be a big presence wherever he goes.
